my short getaway.

yupps, im back!

but pimply and fatter than ever. think there's sth wrong with penang's air cause i had a frigging pimple attack on the first day! argh.

flight was at 3-ish and we arrived at 5-ish. cant believe the flight was soopdoopz short. we got hand towels, had our snack, had a drink and prepared for landing. LOL. it only took 45 minutes. (:

oh, and i found out this really amazing thing while on the plane!

MALAYSIA HAS MORE CLOUDS THAN SINGAPORE!

HAHA, its seriously true. the sky was totally filled with cute fluffy clouds and we even flew through like some of them.

and i think that clouds like me. cause there were like loads of them when i was at the window seat and like damn little when it was poink's turn at the window seat. WAHAHAHAHA.

then stoopid daddy lied to us that we had a limo waiting for us. and idiots us almost believed him when we saw a the chauffuer holding a sign with mummy's name at the arrival hall. LOL. but lucky us, we got a mercs instead. (:

stayed at ghotel this time round. and seriously, the place is like heaven compared to the rest of the island. the lounge/lobby is cool with nice music and ambience is soopdoopz awesome. btw, all their facilities are like g-something for eg. g cafe. but somehow they named their bar g spot. horny shitz. (:

our hotel room.

mr moo insisted on having a shot with our window scenery. teehees. (:

then we headed down to gurney drive. its like another newton circus man. tourist attraction with uber high prices and sucky food. argh. but their apom is awesome! (:

walked back to our hotel and had a romantic sunset stroll. our hotel is like right beside gurney plaza which is a 7 storey shopping mall! (: shopping haven.

awww, and i came back to see mr moo all snuggled up in BB's rugg jag.

we got bored with the limited kids channels and started doing bed shots. their walls were fabulously sound proof cause my folks didnt even hear a whisper despite our freakishly loud shrieks. hahas.

HAHAHAHA X 10000000. :D

went for the famous sister char kuay teow for lunch the next day. (:

not as yummy as i thought it would be. it was soooooo oily but comforting thing was the 5 juicy prawns! and the one plate was only 5RM. cheap or what!

then we went to grab their famous tau sar piah! freshly made. (:

we grabbed like 16 plus boxes in all cann. cause folks have to give blahblahblah. i only managed to snatch like 2 boxes from them. LOL.

had MFM for dinner there! like seriously, the food is so cheap that their Seafood Platter for 2 is only 46+RM! but their quality is bleah. we got cheated! the awesome flaming prawn's sauce isnt original. think it was just salad sauce. argh, what a bummer.

went for the famous chendol the next day to satisfy mummy's cravings. hais, as usual, such a disappointment. was nothing fantabulous except that it quenched our thirst under the hawt sun.

the famous indian rice down the road. this is the only thingey that lived up to its reputation! the rice was drowned in 4 different types of curry and a black sauce thingey. i salivate just thinking of it. hahas.

then headed our for the legendary asam penang laksa! awww, this is delicious too! really different from our laksa which is all lemak-ish. this is sourish type and very yummy except for the tonnes loads of onions floating around. hahas.

penang has LOTS TO SHOP, but......

NOTHING TO BUY!

like omg, the stuff there are wayyyyy more expensive than in singapore. the branded goods are totally not worth it at all. hais. cant believe i barely spent half of my shopping money only. ):

so poinks and i were so bored out by window shopping that we slept everytime we could. HAHA.

saturday evening, daddy's colleague took us to this really deserted place for seafood! like omfg, the bloody journey there took us like more that an hour.

and we got stopped by the police on the way there for passing a red light. hahas, serious corruption. the police didnt even know which red light we passed and nagged a hell load of crap when all he wanted was our bribery. gave him RM20 to shake him off in the end, funny shitz.

oh, we had this really special mantis prawns that were so big! its like 4 times the size of a normal prawn that it actually looks like a crayfish/mini lobster. yumyums.

had the extinct A&W for lunch on sunday! the curly fries were as yummy as i could rmb but the portions were really pathetic. LOL.

we saw this ginormous chuppachuppa at the airport! ah, felt like buying it but it was too expensive/impractical cause i will never be able to finish it.

singapore is still the best place to be on earth. (:

its always that i love singapore more when i come back from other countries. penang was so horrible with NO traffic control or even proper road signs/traffic lights at appropriate intervals. and the environment is frigging dirty. only nice thing was the friendly people who actually speak english! hahas, didnt expect them to be so fluent in it. (:

been soopdoopz busy ever since i got back, trying to catch up on lost sleep and such. LOL. cause stoopid folks made us wake up at 8am every day for i-dont-know-what.

hung out with jialin ytd by her poolside to catch up on each other. cooling breeze with great company. (: had wanted to gym off all my holiday fats but tsk tsk, shes such a bad influence on me. hahas.

mel came over for usual bestie bitching/gossiping/stalking. nothing beats her having around. and omg, she ate so much! fed her 2 hotdog pratas + 1 cup of rocky road ice cream + baby muruku + an apple. all within the short span of 3 hours. (:

okays, dyed my hair alrdy. but its still uber brown. at least i dont look that minah anymore. :D

next up, packing up my room. help anyone?
